SAFE-X 1000 is a resettable flashback arrestor manufactured in accordance with BS-EN 730.
The model incorporates several unique features. It is designed to be user-friendly, with clear indications of open and closed operating modes. A green stripe indicates in-operation mode. The flashback arrestor closes during flashback, cutting off gas flow. The reset mechanism is integrated into the design.
With the system decompressed and the cause of the flashback determined, the SAFE-X 2000 is reset by pulling the reset button out until the green stripe appears again.
SAFE-X 2000, of course, has all the safety functions you can demand from a modern flash back arrestor.
- A filter which prevents contamination affecting the function of the flash back arrestor.
- Flame arrestor of sintered metal, which stops and extinguishes backfire.
- Non-return valve which prevents flow-back.
- A flow-arrestor which automatically turns off the gas flow on flashback.
- Safety fuse which shuts off the gas flow on overheating.
